Seton’s have been manufacturers of bakery equipment since 1970, when Frank Seton, a long time country baker, began developing a range of products designed to improve efficiency in the baking  process. Beginning with the invention of the (now commonplace) palletisedTM self cutting pie tin system, he continued to develop a range of products including a cooker/depositor for  accurately depositing cooked meat into pies, which in conjunction with the  palletisedTM tins, offered a time saving in the  average bakery of 75% on the old labour-intensive methods of pie production.  This is at the heart of what is now known as the "Seton System".

The Seton’s range has continued to expand, and now this "true-blue" Australian family company offers a large range of equipment from sturdy pastry sheeters, to time saving pastry blocking machines, and up to fully automatic makeup lines for plant sized operations. In  fact, in 1980 Seton’s was awarded the Small Business Award, and in 1990, Frank Seton was awarded The Medal of The Order of Australia for services to the Bakery  industry.
